My pride & joy needs a new custodian to lavish some love on it, as age & finances dictate that I must sadly move the old girl on. She runs & drives very well, & is only off the road right now due to a problem with the brake master cylinder. The suspension needs some attention too, with the left side sagging, due to the rubbish rural roads she's been run on. I will not respond to "Is this still available" The car is located at Modbury Heights. With the factory fitted twin SU carburettors, the engine developed 140 horsepower and the Daimler could reach nearly 180 kph, performance which was accompanied by a lovely V8 exhaust note through the twin pipes. Most Daimler 2.5 V8s also came with Borg-Warner's excellent T35 automatic transmission that worked well with the engine's characteristics.
